Engaging
in the process of growing food is a great way to develop good eating habits
that last. It is also a fun exercise that kids love.
We want to change the way children approach and think about food and understand how important food is to education & life.
By simply introducing good food (vegetable gardens), setting good examples and engaging children’s curiosity, energy and their taste buds, we can provide positive and memorable food experiences that will form the basis of positive lifelong eating habits.
We
would encourage all schools to enlist a teacher
or champion to explore bringing good food into the curriculum and culture of the school, to feed
the minds, bodies and futures of each and every student.
change Tomorrow can assist with the funding of the Vegetable Garden implementaiton.
